    COMPANY PROFILE

        Ocekon Engineering was founded in Kosice in the 60's as an integral part of the metallurgical Czechoslovak group VSŽ. With the original name of Mostáreň the firm was mainly focused in the building of railway and road bridges and the structures of steel products and skeletons for technological DP such as cokerie, blast furnaces, steel plant, hot rolling mill. During the 90's the firm went through a restructuring to be transformed into a limited liability company.

In more than 40 years of history, the firm has produced almost 1 milllion tons of steel structures and strengthened its position as the leading structural steel fabricator in Slovakia, one of the most important in Central-Eastern Europe

With its 20.000 sqm of plant space , 10 bridge cranes up to 50 tons, state-of-art manufacturing technologies, 230 specialized employees, professional project management procedures, Ocekon Engineering is able to produce up to 700 tons of steel structures per month.
